Santa Catalina's Castle
The castle of Santa Catalina, a great identity icon of the city, looms majestically 200 m over the city center from the top of the hill of the same name. The fortification was modified throughout the ages as a result of a long and extensive history full of military events. The primitive Muslim citadel consisted of three fortifications, of which only the New Alcazar and a part of the walls have been able to resist the onslaught of history.
